Data Protection Notice

Data Controller: This notice is provided by Rotek Yağlama ve Endüstriyel Çözümler Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi, acting as the data controller under Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), the law applicable to our company as a Turkey-based business. This is a courtesy English translation of our Turkish-language KVKK notice; in case of any discrepancy, the Turkish text governs.

Categories of Data Processed

Through forms, email, phone or other contact channels on our website, we process the identity (name) and contact details you share with us, your company and role/title, the content of your request, product or equipment information, communication records, and any data contained in files you upload.

Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Evaluating and fulfilling quote and technical support requests,
  • Contacting you and managing the prospective-customer process,
  • Planning commercial activities and improving business processes,
  • Fulfilling legal obligations,
  • Pursuing evidentiary processes in the event of a dispute.

Legal Grounds

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

  • Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
  • Being necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation,
  • Being necessary for the data controller's legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

For marketing activities, we additionally obtain your explicit consent where required, or rely on the exceptions set out in applicable law.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your data may be transferred — strictly for the purposes described above, in compliance with applicable law and with the necessary administrative and technical measures in place — to authorized public institutions, our legal counsel for the pursuit of legal proceedings, and domestic or international technology service providers and business partners we work with for infrastructure, hosting, email and CRM services. Where data is transferred abroad, mechanisms compliant with current legislation (KVKK Art. 9) are put in place.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

You may submit your requests under Article 11 of the KVKK (including learning whether your personal data is being processed, and requesting correction or deletion) in writing to the data controller through the channels below:

Requests will be concluded free of charge, as soon as possible and no later than thirty days, depending on their nature.
