The Mobil DTE 10 Excel™ Series is a range of high-performance, anti-wear hydraulic oils designed to meet the needs of hydraulic systems in modern, high-pressure industrial and mobile equipment.

The Mobil DTE 10 Excel Series is formulated with synthetic-technology base oils and a specialized additive package to deliver well-balanced performance across a wide range of applications. The products exhibit outstanding oxidation and thermal stability, allowing for long oil life and minimal deposit formation in demanding hydraulic systems that use high-pressure, high-output power pumps. Innovative, ultra-clean-keeping performance helps prevent the breakdown of critical hydraulic system components, such as the tight-tolerance servo and proportional valves found in many modern hydraulic systems. Shear stability and a high viscosity index allow operation across a wide temperature range while maintaining maximum hydraulic efficiency and top-level component protection at both low and high temperatures. Outstanding air-release properties provide an additional layer of protection in systems with fast response times, helping to prevent cavitation damage and micro-dieseling. The zinc-free anti-wear system provides a high level of protection in gear, vane and piston pumps while also minimizing deposit formation. In addition, Mobil DTE 10 Excel is not acutely or chronically toxic to aquatic life (per GHS criteria and OECD testing).

Formulated through extensive laboratory and field testing, the Mobil DTE 10 Excel Series can help deliver a meaningful improvement in hydraulic efficiency compared with other Mobil™ hydraulic oils — which translates into lower energy consumption or higher machine output, and cost savings.

In a controlled laboratory efficiency test under standard hydraulic operating conditions, the Mobil DTE 10 Excel Series was shown to improve hydraulic pump efficiency by up to six percent compared with standard Mobil hydraulic oils.
